Grimes & Company was recognized in Financial Advisor Magazine’s RIA Ranking in July 2012, July 2013, July 2014, July 2015, July 2016, July 2017, July 2018, July 2019, August 2020, August 2021, August 2023, July 2024, July 2025, and July 2026. Candidates for Financial Advisor Magazine’s RIA Survey and Ranking must complete an online survey about the candidate firm’s clients, RIA size, RIA age, services, and growth efforts. With respect to the candidate’s clients, the questionnaire contains inquiries concerning the RIA’s total number of clients and demographics. The questionnaire also inquires as to the candidate’s total assets under management, additional assets, and techniques employed by the candidate firm that promoted or hindered growth to the candidate’s asset base. The questionnaire also contains inquiries concerning the candidate’s registration status as an investment adviser and/or broker-dealer, identification of the candidate’s custodians, and the date of firm’s most recent ADV filing. The questionnaire further asks candidates to provide all services the candidate currently offers its clients. With respect to the candidate’s employees, the questionnaire inquires as to the firm’s total number of employees and the firm’s employee recruitment practices over the preceding three years to completing the survey. With regards to the firm’s growth efforts, the questionnaire inquires as to the candidate’s likelihood of expansion in the three (3) years preceding completion of the survey and in the forthcoming twelve (12) months from the date the candidate completing the survey.

USA Today – Top Financial Advisory Firms
Grimes & Company was named to the USA TODAY Best Financial Advisory Firms 2026 list, developed by Statista on April 14, 2026. The ranking recognized 1,000 U.S. advisory firms and was based on: (i) recommendations from clients, industry experts, and financial advisors, and (ii) growth in assets under management (‘AUM’). Statista indicates that recommendation data were collected through an independent survey of more than 30,000 individuals, with recommendations weighted at 20% of the final score and AUM development weighted at 80%. Eligibility criteria included, among other things, registration as an investment advisory firm with the SEC and/or at the state level for at least one year, a principal office in the United States, a clean disciplinary record, provision of financial planning or portfolio management services to individuals and/or small businesses, and more than $500,000 in AUM. According to the published methodology, AUM development was measured using data collected through January 2026, and events before or after February 11, 2026 were not included in the metrics.
