Andrew R. Hamil is the Chief Operating Officer at Grimes & Company. In his role, he helps guide the firm’s strategic and operational direction, with a focus on fostering a culture rooted in collaboration and an unwavering commitment to clients. Andrew is especially proud of the firm’s culture and values, which he sees as the foundation for delivering thoughtful, client-centered advice.
Andrew brings more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, with a career spanning leadership roles across wealth management, trust services, and estate planning. He previously served as President and Chairman of Wealth Enhancement Trust Services and as President and Chair of Fidelity Personal Trust Company, FSB. Earlier in his career, Andrew held a variety of leadership roles within Bank of America’s trust division and began his professional journey in private legal practice in Boston. He earned his Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School and is also a Certified Senior Advisor®.
Outside of work, Andrew enjoys coaching youth sports and spending time with his wife and their three children.
